Barbara was one of my very best friends. We kept in contact all through the years. I remember when she got cancer. Every time we visited on the phone, I secretly dreaded the next update that I was going to hear from her, afraid that I wouldn't have the right words of encouragement. It broke my heart that she was going through such a battle. But every time we spoke, she was encouraging me! She would tell me not to worry about her and how great she was doing!
Barbara was an amazing woman, and the last year she was here on earth, she told me that she was not afraid of dying, and how she was drawing closer to God every day. He was faithful, comforting & supportive to her. She was full of joy and anticipation of being with Jesus. I love and miss her sooooo much, but I am so blessed to know where she is, and that I will get to see her again someday!
