David passed away in his home in Dallas, Tx. His memorial was held at Saint Andrews Episcopal Church in Grand Prairie, Texas. His children spread his ashes on a hill overlooking a valley in Palestine, Texas.
David was born to David and Norma Thompson of Grand Prairie, Texas. He graduated from Grand Prairie High School in 1973. He was employed as a carpenter at the Dallas Museum of Art, Dallas, Texas. He had two sisters, Ann Thompson, deceased and Mary Thompson of California.
He is survived by his daughters, Teresa Everhart and husband Chad of Palestine, Texas, Christi Herrington and husband Kurt of Palestine, Texas and son, Kevin Thompson of Louisiana; grandchildren, Macey and Marlee Everhart and Kole and Kase Herrington.
